Each carving is little different because i carve these to each client, slight changes in color will happen, the shell i cut from varies in color from white to shimmers of golden pearlescence. the eyes are Black Onyx set into Sterling Silver settings and riveted from the back to stay in place for ever. I had a childhood experience with a great white owl, it was feeding on something in the tall grass of a field andf i almost steppped on it. my spirit was lifted by its size and flight. I was astonished at its size and strength. I could have mounted on its back a flown away had i taken one more step!
