Original carved and signed earrings by Ruben Xolotl Viramontes. Carved from antique black coral. 2 inches long total and 3/8 inch wide at the skull and 1/4 inch deep at the skull. All metal is 14k white gold the bones and ear wires, all connections are soldered together.The diamonds are total wieght o.16 total, each is .04 carat size, VS clarity inclusions difficult to see with 10x loop, color between G, H, this very nice white. they are tube set in sterling silver and open to the back, reverse of skull has two holes, you can see to the diamonds back.
The pin that runs through the skull is almost as long as the skull is high for excellent durability.
The black coral is antique recycled from old stock, notice the natural growth rings in the coral, there is a golden brown streak in one.
