$60 bucks extra for the chain. 2 1/4 inches top to bottom, and 1 3/4 inches diameter of circle wide, as you see in the picture , that is about three fingers wide. It weighs about 34 grams which is over one ounce of silver. Bold filigree work around this owl face makes a bold statement. All solid sterling silver with hand carved owl face by Ruben Xolotl Viramontes. Each carving is little different because i carve these to each client, slight changes in color will happen, the shell i cut from varies in color from white to shimmers of golden pearlescence. the eyes are Black Onyx set into Sterling Silver settings and riveted from the back to stay in place for ever. I had a childhood experience with a great white owl, it was feeding on something in the tall grass of a field andf i almost steppped on it. my spirit was lifted by its size and flight. I was astonished at its size and strength. I could have mounted on its back a flown away had i taken one more step!
